Yesterday
My boss urged me to make the announcement to my co-workers that I'm pregnant. I feel like I "popped" in the last week or so and it looks pretty obvious. So I announced it at our lunch and people were excited. I feel "guilty" for being pregnant so early in my career at Disney but it was nice to hear people tell me that it never is a good time. Yeah, it really isn't ever a good time. Even if I were at my old job the timing of the pregnancy would have been unfortunate.
It was weird. One of my co-workers who had a baby last year came up and put her hand on my belly. That's the first time that someone other than my husband and brother has done that. I guess it will happen all the time now that I'm showing so much more.
